IDEXX has always aimed to provide valuable and comprehensive diagnostic services to veterinary surgeons. Our laboratory service, supported by a strong team of veterinary pathologists, offers a complete range of diagnostic testing across all disciplines and provides you with a full laboratory investigation from a single source.

To ensure that the most cost effective, yet fully comprehensive, service is available to you, we use referral laboratories to provide some of the more specific assays.

The amalgamation, in 1996, of Grange Laboratories with IDEXX UK has strengthened our expertise and allowed us to enhance our laboratory and In-Clinic services. The combination of IDEXX In-Clinic equipment and IDEXX Laboratories allows you to combine the speed and convenience of In-Clinic testing with the support and expertise of a referral laboratory.

In addition to employing highly trained technicians, veterinary pathologists, client services and administration personnel, we operate our laboratory within the confines of standard operating procedures and undertake rigorous internal and external quality assurance programmes in all laboratory areas. We welcome, and act upon, all queries and comments regarding any aspects of our service and aim to provide you with a high quality, expedient and friendly service.

IDEXX Laboratories is situated in the North East of England in West Yorkshire. Currently employing over 85 staff, including 14 on-site clinical and anatomical veterinary pathologists. We process in excess of 22,000 samples per month. IDEXX aims to provide a high quality, comprehensive veterinary diagnostic service to veterinarians throughout the UK and across all laboratory disciplines.
